A Yellow Flower Has Bloomed in My Garden!

A yellow flower has bloomed in my garden
Small and bright
Intense and beautiful.

It doesn’t have a sweet fragrance,
Nor it attracts a rabble of bees or butterflies.

But this flower is very special to me
Because it bloomed in the summer, fighting the heat,
When the soil was about to dry
As I had been forgetting to water the plants.

But now I have a reason to water it daily
For more beautiful flowers to bloom
And more peace and joy it is gonna bring to my life

I’m holding this flower close to my heart
As it is the first one which has bloomed in my garden after a long time
I’m not gonna let anyone pluck this one
I know I’ll be sad when it withers,
But I’m happy for the light it brought into my life.
