Uncertainty

Life is always very uncertain. Isn’t it supposed to be?
In my opinion, living a life so predictable would be like reading a book with predictable twists. What if everything is so predictable and we know what is going to happen next in our life. Wouldn’t it ruin the whole thrill of waking up to a new morning every day?
It definitely would.

That being said, nobody would have imagined life to be this uncertain when the pandemic hit us. It came to a point where life itself was unpredictable and we are still fighting it out. How odd is it that humankind who conquered Mars and space have been struggling to battle against a virus which is less than 1 millimeters in diameter.

Therefore it is distressing that even with the great technologies, inventions, and advancements in medical science, we lost more than 3 million lives already in the battle.
When this will end? Or the world itself is coming to an end?

Undoubtedly, it would take many years for people and countries to recover from the damage and losses the pandemic has brought into our lives. The air filled with fear, helplessness, and sorrow.

Recent news from various parts of India is so heartbreaking. No one would have ever imagined people fighting for and dying without oxygen. It is true that we took advantage of living on the earth, but isn’t there any going back now?

However, I still believe in the impermanent nature of things. Nothing is permanent in this world. So this shall too pass. Currently, we cannot do anything much other than just holding onto it. Statistics show that the curve of the second wave is already declining in most parts of the country. A little more and then we are out of this. Let us wait for the sun to shine brightly again. Let us take a pledge to live more responsibly then.
